ITS FRIDAY!!!! yayyyy
Hello everyone! I am sorry it has taken me so long to post but I have been studying for Chemistry for a week straight. Anyways! Everything is great.....school is difficult but I think I will live. Tri-Delt is tons of fun. We had a mixer with AGR which is Matt's fraternity and it was called "Boones in the Barn." It is called this because the founder of AGR his last name was Boone and AGR guys are kind of known for being country....so they added the barn part I guess. But.....everyone dressed up like cowgirls and cowboys and it was a very good time. My chemistry test score is still not posted online so I a little stressed about that...but it is over and thats good. I have realized that I have to study in my room because I am completely unproductive in the library. When I go to the library I will see 8429849 people I know and then I start talking and then we go and get coffee from the coffee shop and I end up spending my time talking about stuff instead of studying. BUT i do go back to my room and make up for lost time so its all good. I have made a lot more friends recently too and I am really excited about that. There is a girl named Kelly from Georgia that I have become pretty good friends with and also Margaret, Hadley, and Stella. There are more but I don't really feel like naming them all. anyways.....lets see...OH i have a pretty good story to tell....kind of an epiphany moment. So, there is a custodian lady on my hall and her name is Mrs. Marie. Mrs. Marie is not all there, I mean she isn't mentally handicapped but something isn't right with her. She will talk your ears off while you are taking a shower which kind of freaks me out a little bit but whatever. and like....a few days ago my door was open and she just walked in and started touching and picking up all my stuff. so about the story. I have been stressed out about school and stuff all this week because of Chemistry and then I have been worrying about money...and something to wear to semiformal, and so in the middle of all this stress I decide I need to go wash my face. Well, I am in the bathroom washing my face and Mrs. Marie is cleaning the toilets. Now remember that I am an 18 year old girl going to Clemson University having the time of my life and stressing out. I ask Mrs. Marie how she was doing and while she is on her hands and knees cleaning a community bathroom toilet, she says "Everyday that I wake up is better than the day before." that kinda made me realize that yes school is extremely important and yes I wish I had more money BUT I really have nothing to complain about. so thats my life lesson of the week I guess. but anyways....i hope ya'll got something out of that like I did. I'm hungry though so I am going to eat. LOVE YA'LL!!!
